Global solidarity with Venezuela was once again manifested in India, where various popular organizations and political forces led a massive act to repudiate the hostility of the United States administration.

The attendees emphatically rejected the kidnapping of constitutional president Nicolás Maduro Moros, describing the act as an attack against democratic institutions.

The meeting was held at the HKS Surjeet Bhavan center in New Delhi, attracting a notable call from social groups that denounced Donald Trump's recent executive orders. The spokespersons for the activity described the actions of the White House as a direct threat to the stability of the region and to world peace.

During the day, the bombing of Caracas and the illegal capture of the presidential couple, Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores, were reported to international public opinion. These events were identified as flagrant violations of international law and an alarming violation of national sovereignty that jeopardizes the global diplomatic balance.

Social movements warned that such interventionist measures, based on allegations lacking evidence, respond to a policy of siege that ignores the self-determination of peoples. In this regard, they confirmed their unconditional support for the Venezuelan people in the face of what they described as an escalation of imperialist aggression.

It should be noted that, in recent weeks, India has become an epicenter of demonstrations of support not only for Venezuela, but also for nations such as Cuba, Colombia and Mexico. These countries have been subject to increasing pressure from Washington, which has unified various Indian sectors in a common defense of Latin American sovereignty.
