Instituto Cultural de Falcón activates Vacation Plan 2024 with recreational workshops

The Institute of Culture of the State of Falcón (INCUDEF) carried out a series of recreational and training workshops in disciplines such as drawing, playing musical instruments such as the four and the drum, acting and the creation of traditional rag dolls in Santa Ana de Coro.

During these activities, the importance of cultural diversity, between drum rhythm and dance, was highlighted. Children, aged between 8 and 15, have actively participated in these enriching activities.

They have also had the opportunity to learn the technique of macramé weaving and to make bracelets and keyrings.

In addition, with the “Open Schools” program, Falcón's cultural promoters organized talks on Falconian drums, to explore their performance, dance and cultural context.

The program will continue with a nationalist dance workshop at La Casa de La Cultura “Minerva Lugo” in the Curazaito neighborhood, given by the free-expression choreographer, Eduardo Silva, on Friday 23 and Sunday, August 25 in the morning.
