The government of the Bolivarian State of Aragua, through the Regional Sports Institute (IRDA), signed a strategic alliance with the Universidad Deportiva del Sur (UDS).

The firm was attended by the rector of the UDS, Jinny Suárez; the president of the IRDA, Carlos España; the vice-president of the institution, Edgardo Díaz; and the Secretary for Youth and Sports, Manuel López.

The immediate fruit of this alliance will be the start of a Master's Degree in Sports Management, designed specifically for coaches, athletes and professionals in the sector. The program will last one year, with an intensive mode of 8 hours of classes per week on Fridays and Saturdays, facilitating compatibility with work activities.

“We hope that the university will have a beautiful start in the state of Aragua and that we will train great sports professionals. We will continue together to build university quality with people who have values, respect and empathy,” said Rector Suárez during his speech.

The rector informed that interested parties can pre-register through the UDS virtual platform, which will be available until October 25. Subsequently, we will proceed with the final formalization of the registrations.
