The National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT), implemented a new Driver's License format in Venezuela, which offers the user safety, durability and innovation.

This format has security elements and an exclusive, internationally approved design; made of seven-layer polycarbonate, which guarantees the durability and resistance of the document, has security holograms reactive to ultraviolet light and a chip that allows it to be activated, the INTT explained in a press release.

It also has a unique design adapted to the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which establishes global requirements so that photos of identification documents are unfalsifiable and cannot be replaced.

This new format will allow international license exchange agreements to be renewed, benefiting hundreds of compatriots who need their documentation to transit through their countries of residence.

Another advantage of this license is that, through the QR code, the user will have a unique profile in the INTT system, where all the driver and vehicle information will be reflected, including personal data, medical information and how many vehicles they own, among others.

The change in format contributes to the policies of the Great Quadrant Peace Mission, at its vertices 1 and 11, focused on Integral Prevention and the Development of Technological Innovation to strengthen Citizen Security.
