Iran announces new meeting with the US for dialogue in Oman

This Tuesday, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Esmail Baqai, announced that the second round of indirect talks between his country and the United States (USA) will take place next Saturday in Muscat, the capital of Oman.
Baqai confirmed that “the consultations carried out led to the decision that Muscat, the capital of Oman, will continue to host the next round of negotiations, scheduled for Saturday, April 19,” said Hispantv.
The announcement comes a few days after the conclusion of the first round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States, also held in Muscat last Saturday.
During an official flight, the American president, Donald Trump, told the press that he had met with his advisors to discuss the issue of Iran and that he expected a decision soon. “I think the situation in Iran is going well,” Trump added
