The government of the Islamic Republic of Iran evaluates the damage caused by several Israeli attacks against Tehran during the early morning of Friday, an unprecedented event that escalated tensions between the two nations to the highest level.
The Parliament's National Security Committee said in a statement that: “The Zionist enemy only makes noise and is too weak to cause real harm to Iran.” Also from the Iranian Air Defense Center, it was reported that: Israel carried out air aggression against bases in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan and Elam, and was able to repel most of the aggressions.
Two soldiers were reported killed during the attacks, in addition to some limited damage to military bases in the three provinces. However, the comprehensive air defense system was able to repel most of them.
“Israel notified the United States before launching its aggressions, but Washington did not participate in the operation,” Routers published in a quote to an alleged American official whom they did not identify.
