Iran said it will defend itself despite US military armor against Israel

This Monday, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Esmail Baqaí, at a press conference in Tehran assured that his country will defend Israel despite military armor from the United States (USA).

“The continuation of this presence and its strengthening also contributes to increasing tensions, but it will undoubtedly have no impact on our determination and will to defend ourselves,” said the spokesman.

The Pentagon this week ordered the deployment of an additional number of ballistic missile defense destroyers, a squadron of fighters and tankers, and several U.S. Air Force B-52 long-range attack bombers in the Western Asia region.

The new US measure in defense of the Zionist regime comes at a time when Iran has described its response to the latest Israeli aggression as definitive, ignoring Washington's request not to respond to the Zionist offensive.
