Iran warned that US interference destabilizes the entire region

The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Lariyani, stated that the rhetoric of the President of the United States (USA), Donald Trump and the Israeli regime reveals the hidden agenda behind the recent events in the country.

The statements come after Trump said this Friday that if Iran kills demonstrators, Washington will “come to their rescue”, referring to peaceful protests by Iranian merchants in various parts of the country.

“If Iran violently shoots and kills peaceful demonstrators, as is its custom, the United States will come to their rescue,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “We are prepared and ready to act,” he stressed.

In reaction to these interventionist positions of the American president on the protests in Iran, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran published on the social network X that “with the statements of Israeli officials and Trump, the background of the events became clear”.

“We distinguish the positions of the protesting merchants from those of the destructive elements. Trump must know that U.S. interference in this internal matter will amount to destabilizing the entire region and also American interests,” he said.

Later, the Persian official remarked that “the American people know that Trump started this adventure. Let him take care of his soldiers.”
