“We in Iraq categorically refuse to involve Iraqi skies in the space of war” against Iran, said Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.

During a press conference in Baghdad together with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi, the Iraqi diplomat indicated that faced with the threat of the expansion of war into Iran and using Iraq as a corridor for this, “it is unacceptable”.

“The Israeli aggression against Lebanon will lead to the birth of a new war” that threatens peace and security in the region and could therefore generate “an energy crisis worldwide”, he warned.

According to what was published by the Swissinfo.ch web portal, Hussein urged to seek strategies that can stop this crisis in the region, while stating that he continues “with attempts to bring aid to the displaced in both Lebanon and Syria”, which are countries victims of Israeli Zionism.
