Israel attacked a school converted into a shelter in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked this Saturday, October 19, a school that houses displaced Palestinians and is located in the Al Shati camp, one of the eight historic refugee camps in the Gaza Strip, reports Al Jazeera, in a review of the portal Russia Today.

They report that the attack caused numerous deaths and injuries.

In addition, the Palestinian Civil Defense confirmed that the aggression was perpetrated against the ASMAA school, affiliated with the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA).

Meanwhile, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health this Saturday, in more than a year of hostilities between Israel and Hamas in the Palestinian enclave, at least 42,519 people died and 99,637 were injured.
