The Israeli army resumed bombing in the Gaza Strip, despite the current ceasefire agreement, and expanded its offensive with the demolition of Palestinian houses, hospitals, temples and cemeteries, Prensa Latina reported.
The continuation of military operations aggravated the humanitarian crisis and multiplied international calls to open borders and allow humanitarian aid to enter.
Arab media reported that warplanes attacked Gaza City, the most populated in the enclave, while ground troops carried out controlled explosions on residential buildings in the east and near the Al-Batsh cemetery, in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
The offensive also affected the cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis, in the south, which were shot from helicopters and naval fire. In this context, the municipality of Rafah warned that, due to the shortage of fuel caused by the Israeli blockade, it could suspend basic services, including emergency services.
According to official data, since October 2023, there have been 71,266 deaths and 171,219 injured. Despite the ceasefire decreed on October 11, 2025, 414 more deaths have been recorded, caused by recent attacks, the discovery of bodies under the rubble and by landslides caused by weather conditions.
International organizations estimate that the actual number of victims could exceed 186,000, taking into account indirect deaths caused by hunger, disease and lack of medical assistance.
