As of January 1, 2026, the regime of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, withdrew the licenses of 37 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) operating in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, to intensify the blockade and aggression against the Palestinian people.
In this regard, the Commissioner for Crisis Management of the European Union (EU), Hadja Lahbib, demanded that the Zionist regime lift “all barriers to the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza”.
“The European Union has been clear: the NGO registration law cannot be implemented in its current form. All barriers to humanitarian access must be lifted,” he wrote on social media.
Lahbib noted that Israel's plans “involve blocking lifesaving aid (...) International Humanitarian Law leaves no room for doubt: aid must reach those who need it,” he emphasized.
