Israeli attack left 73 fatalities in northern Gaza

This Monday, a new Israeli attack on northern Gaza left 73 dead victims of Palestinian origin, thus aggravating the humanitarian crisis in the region.

According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, the injured are in critical condition, and it is feared that the number of fatalities may increase.

According to the Qatari network Al Jazeera, the Israeli army has carried out intense bombings on Palestinian homes in Beit Lahia, in the north of the coastal enclave.

For his part, Hossam Abusafia, director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital, described the devastating situation in Gaza, and has stated that a critical point has been reached where patients must be prioritized due to the scarcity of resources.

“Unfortunately, many of the injured have died because of the impossibility of providing them with adequate care,” he said according to a publication in Úlmas Noticias.

Likewise, the spokesman of the United Nations (UN), Stéphane Duj arric, reported that the United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) has provided more than 5.6 million medical consultations to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
