This Friday, Israeli occupying forces killed 84 civilians as a result of their attacks on residential buildings north of the enclave.

According to Telesur, the media office of the Government of Gaza reported in a statement that, last Friday, attacks by the Israeli Army hit civilian residential buildings belonging to the Shalayel and Al-Ghandour families in the governorate of the northern Gaza Strip.

“These crimes take place at a time when the occupying army is targeting civilian families, whose residential buildings are inhabited by civilians and displaced persons and are made up of several floors,” the statement said.

On the other hand, in the midst of the difficult situation faced by the civilian population in Gaza, pregnant women face a double crisis of health and survival.

Yasmin Al-Masri, a young mother displaced in the Beit Lahiya disaster area, told Anadolu news agency that, due to the siege, the situation has worsened due to the combined effects of hunger and thirst.

“Since the blockade began, I haven't had enough food or water. Most days, I only have bread to eat and sometimes I feel like I'm about to faint,” Yasmin said.

According to the United Nations Population Fund, there are about 4,000 pregnant women who are trapped in northern Gaza. All of them with the fear that their children will not survive at birth because the constant bombings and blockades, by Zionist forces, have left hospitals ineffective.
