A Palestinian resistance fighter identified as Aiman Rafiq Muhamad al Hashlamun was killed Monday by Israeli Zionist occupying forces during a raid on the Qalandiya refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.

According to local media reports, troops broke into the facilities of the Vocational Training Institute, using tear gas, stun grenades and live ammunition against those present. Amid the riots, a young man was seriously injured by gunfire and lost his life soon after due to the seriousness of his injuries.

Simultaneously with the assault on the camp, the Wafa news agency reported that the military forces completely closed the main road adjacent to Qalandiya in both directions. This road blockade measure was carried out while the troops were expanding their range of action to other areas of the region.

The interruption of traffic significantly affected mobility between nearby towns, consolidating an operational fence around this strategic point in the West Bank.

The military operation also extended to the city of Doha, located west of Bethlehem, where there were new incursions by Israeli units. These actions are part of an escalation of interventions in Palestinian territory that seek to dismantle pockets of local resistance.

The invasion of schools and civilian areas has increased tension in the community, while local organizations denounce the disproportionate use of force and the impact of these maneuvers on the civilian population.

The situation in the West Bank is being kept under extreme surveillance in view of the possibility of new shocks resulting from these events. The death of the young fighter has generated a response of indignation in the Qalandiya camp, a site that has historically been the scene of fierce territorial disputes.

For the time being, the occupying forces maintain a presence at key points on the main roads, while the Palestinian health authorities confirm that the balance of victims is still being monitored after the last incursions on Monday.
