Israeli troops entered the city of Al-Hurriya in the province of Quneitra on Thursday, in the part of the Golan Heights under Syrian sovereignty and are hindering the forces of the United Nations (UN).

The incursion is part of the unprecedented offensive launched by the Zionist regime of Benjamin Netanyahu against the Syrian nation in parallel with the departure of President Bashar al-Asad, details Hispantv.

Last Wednesday night, Israeli occupying forces also attacked the towns of Ruwaihinah and Umm Batna, in the central rural area of Quneitra.

The inhabitants of the town, who refused to leave their villages, stated that the forces of the occupying regime asked them to evacuate their houses to be annexed to so-called buffer zones.

This came after statements by the Israeli minister of military affairs, Israel Katz, when he assured that the regime is planning a “sterile defense zone” in southern Syria, in violation of the 1974 withdrawal agreement between the two parties.
