The Italian minister, in an interview quoted by Hispantv from the British agency Reuters, referred to recent Israeli attacks that killed civilians, many of them children, and medical personnel at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza.
“For me, a Palestinian child is worth as much as a Ukrainian child or an Italian child. A Palestinian hospital is worth as much as a Ukrainian hospital or an Italian hospital,” said Crosetto.
He also emphasized that the Israeli regime had to recognize its mistakes, regarding its actions against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. “Sometimes you have to have the courage to say 'I'm sorry',” he added.
Faced with the possible extension of violence beyond Gaza, he indicated that “Gaza is like a pool of water that is thrown at a stone every day and whose waves spread to its surroundings.”
