Jefferson Savarino scored a double in Botafogo's win over Peñarol (+Libertadores)

The Venezuelan Jefferson Savarino was the protagonist in the victory of Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro against Peñarol de Montevideo 5-0, in the semifinals of the Copa Libertadores.

Savarino scored two of his team's five goals and was involved in another two goals. He opened the scoring in the 51st minute and in the 59th minute he scored third in the Rio de Janeiro cast.

The Venezuelan scored 4 goals in the Copa Libertadores.

The Venezuelan club will visit Peñarol on October 30 to try to get their first pass to the Libertadores final.
