Jorge Arreaza announced UNACOM training programs

The rector of the National University of the Communes (UNACOM), Jorge Arreaza, announced the importance of the inauguration of this new study house from which knowledge will be delivered from our own knowledge to all Venezuelans.

In this regard, from UNACOM in Carabobo state, he emphasized that the Plan of the 7 Transformations is part of the training programs that have been designed for this first stage.

He explained that in principle the programs to be taught will be careers in administration, agroecology, veterinary, civil engineering, computer science, electrical, environmental, logistics and distribution, agri-food, tourism, popular communication and sports.

He specified that several training courses will be taught “both leading to degree, as they call in the academy, and not leading to degree, but a diploma in popular democracy and popular system of government can easily be recognized as credit units of his career .”

He also pointed out that they will also have several of their own programs related to the communal economy, communal democracy and the communal government system, training of community controllers, training of judges and justices of the peace, community management and some specific careers in communal textile engineering.

“We are going to train trainers in the first instance and we are going to start with the governors and governors, who are great trainers of this country, but the trainers of the university are going to accredit, as you have so much requested and have demanded, the knowledge of our people,” he said and pointed out that it will also be a great school of leadership for all popular spokespersons.

He reaffirmed that with at least these programs “we are going to start this year with all the capacities that the territory of the Republic has”, at the same time, he emphasized that the objective is that in every state of the country there is a nucleus of UNACOM.
