Jorge Arreaza: Israel, as a regime, is nothing more than a colonizing project

The rector of the National University of the Communes, Jorge Arreaza, highlighted this Tuesday the great participation of the Venezuelan people in the march against the Palestinian genocide, perpetrated by the Zionist regime of Israel, two years after the beginning of the greatest criminal escalation against the Gaza Strip.

“Here we are giving a demonstration of what the people of Venezuela are. 200 years ago, the generation of Liberator Simon Bolivar was fighting against imperialist domination and for peace (...) And that is what we ask for the Palestinian people,” he said from the immediate vicinity of the embassy of the State of Palestine in Caracas.

In this regard, Arreaza indicated that solidarity with the people of Palestine belongs to all of Venezuela and of all free peoples, and added that the genocide has seen the awakening of the peoples of the world.

He assured that the government of Israel and the United States are controlled by Zionist movements, who denigrate and condemn Palestinian citizens with wars and death.

“Since the beginning of the 20th century, Zionism had been implementing its plan, but Zionism was not alone, it was protected by British imperialism. Zionism was later protected by the heir to British imperialism, which is US imperialism. Israel, as an entity, as a regime, is nothing more than a European colonizing project,” he criticized.

Arreaza highlighted that Venezuela has complied with the integration and respect for the sovereignty of peoples since Commander Hugo Chávez, who defended humanist ideals, and whose legacy has been honored by President Nicolás Maduro.
