Jorge Rodríguez: Iran's response brought Israel's government criminals to their knees

This Wednesday, June 25, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, assured that 12 days were enough for the world to realize that Israel, with its threatening attitude against Iran, “was just another paper tiger.”

He pointed out that “the response of the Islamic Republic of Iran brought the criminals of the Israeli government to their knees.”

“The bluster fell with the war criminals, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, who kept the whole of humanity in distress and threat,” he said.

This was stated on the occasion of the mobilization through the streets of Caracas in a March for Peace, to ratify the commitment of the Venezuelan people to peaceful coexistence and global solidarity, to promote a Summit for Global Peace.

He stated that the actions of the State of Israel have already fallen under their own weight, after keeping the world in anxiety and anguish, as the international community has witnessed their consequences.

In this regard, he emphasized the need to promote the proposal of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to hold a Summit for Global Peace. “We are not aligned with any imperial enclave on this planet (...) we call for peace, this proposal by President Maduro is to be able to build a future of peace,” he said.

Rodríguez maintained that as long as “Netanyahu heads that government of that nation with a Zionist identity, the threat and anxiety over all of humanity will remain.”
