Jorge Rodríguez on Bukele: Violates international conventions on migrants

Through his Telegram channel, the Vice President of Communications and International Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jorge Rodríguez, reported that the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, violates international conventions on migrants by keeping 253 Venezuelans kidnapped.

“Once again, we denounce the kidnapping of 253 Venezuelan brothers by the government of El Salvador, which receives money from the United States violating international conventions on migrants and subjecting them to forced disappearances,” he said.

He also questioned how sectors of the Venezuelan extreme right lend themselves to applauding these actions against Venezuelans in the world. At the same time, he indicated that those drawn to imperialism have used the issue of migration as a business.

As for Bukele's proposal, he specified that he formulated it because “they can't find a way to get out of the package they got into after the serious violation of Human Rights.”
