The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, unveiled this Friday the farce surrounding the alleged parallel electoral results published by the extreme opposition right in their plans to sing fraud.

During his participation in President Nicolás Maduro's press conference with national and international media, Rodríguez recalled the intentions of María Corina Machado and Edmundo González Urrutia to ignore the elections long before the elections were held last Sunday, July 28, and they presented a website with their “minutes”.

“How curious that the day before the elections, on July 27 of this year 2024, that domain was purchased, it was purchased, it was rented for a year, from July 27, 24 to July 27, 25. In other words, they had already decided not to abide by the result of the National Electoral Council (CNE) but had set up a pantomime of a kind of parallel National Electoral Council through this page,” he revealed.

He criticized that the extremist sector was never “in a position to accept what the electoral referee legally decided (...) it was with a page purchased in the United Kingdom, in Great Britain, and the server he has, which of course is from Amazon, Jeff Bezos is also playing the coup d'etat”.
