The candidate for deputy to the National Assembly of the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPS), Jorge Rodríguez, stressed that it was possible to reach the electoral elections in Santa Paz, despite the calls and attempts of the extreme right to generate violence to have them suspended, thanks to the rapid action of the Bolivarian Government.

In that regard, he congratulated all the staff of the National Electoral Council and the thousands of Plan República troops that have been deployed throughout the national territory.

He stressed that the Venezuelan people are coming out to exercise their right to vote in compliance with a constitutional requirement and at the same time renewing the authorities of the governorates and the National Assembly.

He emphasized that in no other country in the world are there so many electoral events for different issues as in Venezuela. “Between the presidential election of the year and this mega-election, we have already had four popular consultations and an election of justices of the peace,” he added.

In this regard, he emphasized that in no country in the world in a period of less than a year are so many elections held in less than a year, with the protection of the voter's identity, the secrecy and unique nature, and the maximum expression of popular voting.
