Jorge Rodríguez: The election of May 25 opens a page towards modernization

The reelected deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, said this Tuesday that the regional and legislative elections of last Sunday, May 25, open the way for the modernization and prosperity of Venezuela.

“I think that with the election of May 25, a page is turned and a page is opened for the history of Venezuela towards modernization, towards the conquest of prosperity and towards the welfare state to which President Nicolás Maduro was so committed,” said the parliamentarian after being proclaimed by the National Electoral Council (CNE).

He recalled that the revolutionary forces, whom he represents, brought “a proposal that we presented to the whole country, that we went house by house and street by street (...) that proposal involves the modernization of the Venezuelan legislative system, the coding through nine codes of different topics that we want to present to the People of Venezuela and also all the work of this new phase”.
