Jorge Rodríguez: The People gave a powerful lesson to the extremist opposition with massive participation

The head of the VEN25+ National Campaign Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, stressed that the Venezuelan people gave a strong lesson to the extremist opposition sector by participating massively in the Regional and Legislative Elections 2025, despite the difficulties generated in several states of the country by the rains.

“Today, the people of Venezuela spoke,” he said.

He argued that “I think there was a position of strength, because Venezuelan citizens were retaliatively challenged, mistreated, harassed, as they do with migrants.”

For that reason, he stressed that “the People gave him a very powerful lesson, hopefully, the sectors of the Venezuelan opposition understand that there is a message.”

This was emphasized by Rodríguez, from the Press Room of the National Electoral Council (CNE), where he stated that “there was a tremendous demonstration, beyond the fake news they put together and the manipulation in the networks, reality is reality”.

He argued that this reality “was reliably demonstrated in the peaceful participation of millions and millions of people who turned to the voting centers.”

“An election is mainly a deep and fruitful dialogue between millions of people, who one day decide to talk to each other to elect officials,” he said.
