The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, rejected the interventionist actions of the United States Government that seek to take over the country's oil.

“It is clear what Donald Trump's intention and confession are and ratified by Stephen Miller and expressed kneeling down by the genocide of María Machado. Today, more than ever, we are determined to defend this land,” Rodríguez emphasized during an extraordinary session.

He stressed that Venezuela is a people of peace that respects the sovereignty of other countries, while stressing that the country does not want a war scenario.

He denounced that these supremacist plans are led by the extreme right wing María Corina Machado because she is subordinate to the interests of Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is the owner of this genocide (Machado) that allows him to impose on him the matrices, the narrative,” he said.

He recalled that the United States during the Fourth Republic robbed the country of oil and that is why, with the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, this non-renewable natural resource was given to the People.

“Today, more than ever, the land of Venezuela belongs to Venezuelan women and Venezuelans, Venezuela's oil belongs to Venezuelan women and Venezuelans; Venezuela's gold belongs to Venezuelan women and Venezuelans, the sky of Venezuela belongs to Venezuelan women and Venezuelans; the seas and rivers of Venezuela belong to Venezuelan women and Venezuelans,” he said.
