Jorge Rodríguez: We are united around the flag, the anthem, the word Venezuela

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, ratified this Tuesday the unity of all Venezuelan forces against threats from United States (US) imperialism.
During the installation of the Assembly of the Peoples for the Sovereignty and Peace of Our America, Rodríguez told those present to “have the full assurance that President (Nicolás) Maduro, the People of Venezuela, the Bolivarian Revolution, all and everyone, even those who do not agree with Bolivarian ideas and Chavism, are united.”
He stressed that this unity is manifested around “the land where the bones of our grandparents and grandmothers and our parents rest, the sky that our children see in the morning on their way to school, the flag, the anthem, the word Venezuela”.
In this regard, he urged the representatives of the countries participating in the assembly, in Caracas, to accompany Venezuela's struggle for peace and in defense of sovereignty.
“We are here to sing with you, to freedom, to the future, to sovereignty, to independence, and we ask you to sing with us, stay with us, this land belongs to you,” he said.
