The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, said that the results of the recent election of May 25 are transformed into a commitment by the revolutionary forces to continue governing together with the people in the street.

“We have an immense commitment to that electoral result, that result commits us to remain in the streets, to continue to turn into reality our slogan of people who resolve and now, as President Maduro instructed us, we are going for the policy of more territory and less desk: let's go to the streets, let's go with the people to build the homeland we want,” he said.

He stressed that during this electoral process, where the revolutionary forces destroyed 23 governorates and more than 230 deputies to the national parliament, they are an expression of the will for peace of the Venezuelan people.

“The victory of 25M is one of the most splendid we have had in times of the Bolivarian Revolution because it was to teach a lesson to extremism that is committed to terror, the victory of 25M was a message of peace, of the future, a message that we want to build together with the family the state of well-being and prosperity that they stole from us,” he said.

In addition, during his participation in the Great March of Victory of 25M, he pointed out that this electoral process also meant strong support for President Nicolás Maduro.

“In this victory, there is an important message of support for our leader, President Nicolás Maduro, a message that also correlates with what has been his constant preaching; 'let's build the future, let's ignore the violent, let's not stray from our main objective, let's maintain joy, let's keep hope, we will defend and care for the family', and that is exactly what we are going to do,” he emphasized.
