Josnelys Ramírez from Caracas stands out in U-15 speed

The athlete Josnelys Ramírez won the speed double in the Under-15 Evaluation held at the Brígido Iriarte Stadium in Caracas, a joust that served as the stage for the exhibition of the country's sports reserve in this sport.

The 14-year-old from the capital made her way through the competition, in the first instance, in the 80 meters that she mastered with explosiveness and running technique to cross the finish line first at 10.07 seconds.

The capital's also Dariangel Oramas ranked second with just four hundredths of a difference (10.11) compared to the gold medal, followed by Susej Alvarado from Aragüeña, who scored 10.18 to take third place.

The second victory came for Ramírez in the 150 meters, where he won with 18.47; Oramas and Alvarado repeated the same order of arrival with times of 18.64 and 18.97, respectively.

In the 80-meter hurdles, on the other hand, Oramas was the fastest to cross obstacles to consecrate herself with a time of 11.73, escorted by the co-jedeñas Marianyela Acosta (12.03) and Andrea Pino (12.09).

This evaluation represented the last selection in the under-15 category with a view to the South American School Games in Asunción, Paraguay, scheduled for November 30 to December 7.
