The Cuban Book Institute, the House of the Americas, and the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba announced this week the twenty-second edition of the Latina reviews.

It should be noted that this award, held annually, was created by the prestigious Lithuanian intellectual Ugné Karvelis as a tribute to this Argentinian writer.

In addition, it aims to stimulate storytellers from all over the world who write in Spanish. Those interested must submit an unpublished story, with a free theme, that is not committed to any other competition or is in the editorial process and whose length does not exceed 20 pages, in two spaces and pages.

In addition, the stories must be submitted in , to which the identity and location data of the author will be attached in a separate document. The works must be sent before September 30 of this year, to the emails [email protected] and [email protected].

The award-winning story will be published in the literary magazine and, in book form, together with the stories that obtain mentions, by Editorial Letras Cubanas, a volume that will be presented at in Havana in 2025.
