Julio Mayora and Keydomar Vallenilla bathed in gold at the 2025 Ayacucho-Lima Bolivarian Games

Weightlifters Julio Mayora and Keydomar Vallenilla played the notes of the national anthem twice at the Ayacucho-Lima 2025 Bolivarian Games.
Mayora won a new gold double by lifting 162 kg in the boat and 193 kg in the start, totaling 338 kg, to establish herself as the best weightlifter in the joust in the region, according to the Ministry of Sports press report.
Meanwhile, Vallenilla stood out in the 94-kilo category by setting two continental records in his participation.
The Venezuelan started his career at the start with 176 kg that credited him with the gold medal, and soon after in the envión category he also won first place by setting a Pan-American record of 216 kg and a continental record with a cumulative total of 392 kg.
For his part, Ángel Rodríguez added a record for the continental under-23 to his sporting record by lifting a weight of 192 kg in an envión, which awarded him second place in the specialty in the 88 kg category. He also won a second silver medal at the start with his best attempt of 168 kg.
In the women's division, Génesis Rodríguez, in the 63 kg, won a silver medal after lifting 103 kg in the start and added bronze in the envión
In addition, Claudia Rengifo, the Pan-American junior runner-up in Asunción 2025, won her first Bolivarian metal in 69 kg with a 95 kg lift starting to win the silver medal and won bronze in the envión with 119 kg.
For his part, Keily Silva, in the 77 kg, took the podium twice, at the start he won bronze with 95 kg and repeated the color of the metal in the awards of the envión category with a better lift of 126 kg.
