“Know Our History” tourist route covers tourist attractions in Zulia

The Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism invited you to visit the “Know Our History” tourist route, which covers 300 meters of iconic buildings that capture the historical legacy of Maracaibo, Zulia state, where a fascinating experience transforms the city center into a cultural space.

He also stressed that this initiative is positioned as a key attraction in the region, offering visitors and locals an experience that allows them to discover the entity's deepest identity and traditions.

The tourist circuit is a true tribute to the state's heritage. During the tour, you can admire the colonial structures, witnesses of the history of Venezuela.

In this way, the itinerary provides a collection of architectural and cultural jewels, including: Rafael Urdaneta General Historical Museum, Rafael Urdaneta General Park, Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá, Monument of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá, Baralt Theater, House of the Capitulation, Government Palace or Palace of the Condors, Legislative Palace, Plaza Bolívar, Cathedral Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, Plaza Baralt, Art Center of Maracaibo Lía Bermúdez and San Sebastián market.

This route aims to consolidate the entity as a must-see inbound tourism destination, in addition to promoting the preservation of the region's historical heritage through a unique and guided experience.
