The Kremlin spokesman, Dmitri Peskov , indicated that Russia will give a strong response to Ukraine's recent attacks with ATACMS missiles against the Russian city of Taganrog.

“I want to recall here the absolutely unambiguous and direct statement of yesterday's Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which clearly states that there will be a response. The answer will, of course, come when and how it is considered appropriate, but it will come without fail,” Peskov said during a press conference.

This Wednesday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an attack on an airfield in the Russian city of Taganrog, located in the southwest of the Eurasian country.

The Russian Defense Ministry specified that the Kiev attack was carried out with six US-manufactured ATACMS missiles, of which two were shot down, while the rest were diverted using electronic warfare systems, reports the RT website.

This Ukrainian onslaught caused several Russian soldiers to be injured.
