As part of the monthly program promoted by the National Government to strengthen healthcare in the country, the hospital network in the state of La Guaira received more than 350,000 medical-surgical supplies, aimed at ensuring the operation of its main healthcare centers.

Dr. Nelare Bermúdez, the entity's Single Health Authority, reported, according to a press release, that the shipment included physiological solutions, gauze, disposable material, analgesics, anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics, among other resources to reinforce surgical and emergency areas.

“The endowment comes to continue strengthening our capacity to respond to any emergency situation and to improve the quality of medical services. This is a continuous commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the health of all Guaireans,” said Bermúdez.

The distribution of supplies was carried out strategically in the main health centers in the state, including the Rafael Medina Jiménez Hospital in Pariata, the José María Vargas Hospital in La Guaira, the Maternal and Child Hospital in Macuto, the Martín Vegas Dermatology Hospital, the Eudoro González Hospital and the Alfredo Machado Popular Clinic.
