Latin American Free Software Installation Festival will take place this April 28th

On April 28, a new edition of the Latin American Free Software Installation Festival (FLISOL) will be held at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) in the Tobías Lasser auditorium of the Faculty of Sciences, starting at eight in the morning.
The event agenda includes specialized conferences, interactive workshops, presentation of technological projects and spaces for the exchange of knowledge among the community. In addition, recent advances in artificial intelligence and its integration into open source software environments will be addressed, as published by the web portal of the Ministry of People's Power Science and Technology (MINCY).
Programmed interventions include: DeepRoot: Democratizing Access to Advanced AI Models through Canaima GNU/Linux, by Jonás Reyes; Free Software and Robotics, presented by José Manuel Zambrano Serpa; and Generative AI for Free Software: The Case of DeepSeek, presented by Rafael Graziani.
FLISOL is open to all of society: students, teachers, entrepreneurs, professionals from various fields, public officials and people with an interest in the technological field. Its purpose is to promote the use of free software, disseminating its principles, applications and development.
