Lebanon considers any Israeli presence in its territory as an invasion

This Tuesday, the deadline for the complete Israeli withdrawal ended and Zionist troops keep five points occupied. At the same time, the Lebanese Army was partially deployed because explosives are present in the vacated territories.

In this context, the Lebanese president, Joseph Aoun, the prime minister, Nawaf Salam, and the president of the parliament, Nabih Berri, the presidential spokeswoman, Najat Charafeddine, after a meeting stated that Lebanon will consider as occupation any remaining Israeli presence in its territory and has the right to use all means at its disposal to ensure its expulsion and recover national lands.

The senior Lebanese officials reaffirmed Lebanon's unified national position, as well as the commitment of the Lebanese State to its full national rights and its sovereignty over all its territory.

They also stress that Israel must completely withdraw from all occupied areas, in accordance with international treaties and UN resolutions, in particular Resolution 1701, whose purpose is to guarantee peace between the two countries, and therefore they condemned the repeated violations of the ceasefire by Israeli soldiers.
