The Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, this Tuesday demanded that Israel respect the ceasefire agreement announced after the telephone conversation with the President of the United States, Joe Biden, this Tuesday, however, the Tel Aviv government out war actions on different fronts.
The premier reiterated the will of the Lebanese Government to implement International Resolution 1701 of the United Nations Security Council, strengthen the presence of the army in the south and cooperate with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.
Najib Mikati also required Israel to leave all occupied areas and sites and to comply with Resolution 1701.
