Leonardo González will no longer be in charge of Anzoátegui FC

The Board of Directors of Anzoátegui Football Club announced the departure of the technical director, Leonardo González, after completing his participation in the 2025 season of the first division of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League).

Along with the coach, his assistants Lewis González, Pedro Vera and Edgar Salazar came out, as well as the physical trainer Javier Covela.

In a press release released by the Anzoatiguense club, they thank González, his technical assistants and the physical trainer “for the great work carried out at the head of the team during the club's first season in the First Division”.

They also wished Leo every success in his future projects, who will be recorded in historical records as the first coach of the professional team in the First Division of our institution.

González led the team since January of this year and achieved the club's qualification to the Final Phase in the Apertura Tournament.
