Luis Martínez and Fabricio Rodríguez win medals at the Badminton International in Peru

The Criollos Luis Martínez and Fabricio Rodríguez have silver and bronze medals for Venezuela, in the Badminton International that takes place in Peru.

Martínez reached the final of the U17 category, beating the Guatemalan Máximo Rettig, with a score of 21 - 10; 18 - 21; 21 - 15, securing the silver medal, according to the Ministry of Sports press report .

For his part, Rodríguez in the U17 category won the bronze medal.

The Venezuelan badminton team led by Professor Jordan Martínez is made up of: Barbara Lamas (Cojedes/U17) Fabricio Rodríguez (Cojedes/U17), Denisse Arveláez (Guáríco/U17), Luis David Martínez (Guáríco/U17), Mariangel García (Cojedes/U19), José Alian Pereira (Trujillo/U19), Ángeles Rojas (Cojedes/Adult) and Frank Barrios (Aragua/Adult).

The international tournaments are planned as follows: Peru International Series from October 17 to 20; Multicategory Junior International Regatta Cup October 22 to 27 and Multicategory Cup October 23 to 27.
