Lydda Franco Farías and Argimiro Gabaldón biennials extend call until September 15

Until September 15, 2024, the Poetry contests of the IV Lydda Franco Farías National Literature Biennial and the Essay contests of the VII Argimiro Gabaldón National Literature Biennial were extended.
The call to participate in these contests is promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC) through the National Book Center (CENAL).
These literature biennials, together with five others that were also organized by the MPPC for the current year, will be rewarding unpublished works as part of the Bolivarian Government's cultural policies aimed at promoting literary production and encouraging the development of new authors.
In addition to the national literature biennials Lydda Franco Farías and Argimiro Gabaldón, the XI National Biennial of Literature Orlando Araujo, short Narrative Mention, until September 15; the V Manuel Felipe Rugeles National Literature Biennial, mention Children's Literature (Poetry), until September 30; and the VII José Vicente Abreu National Literature Biennial, mention Historical novel, until August 31.
In addition to the II National Biennial of Literature César Rengifo, mention Theatrical Essay, and the II National Biennial of Apacuana Literature, mention Dramaturgy, organized by the MPPC through the National Theater Company (CNT) together with CENAL and whose deadlines for the reception of works will close on October 20.
The award at each biennial includes the publication by Monte Ávila of the winning work and one hundred thousand bolivars (Bs 100,000.00).
