Madrid: Anti-Fascist International and Solidarity Platform repudiate Edmundo González's anti-democratic actions

The Anti-Fascist International, Madrid chapter and the Bolivarian Solidarity Platform strongly condemn the anti-democratic actions of Edmundo González Urrutia, in disregard of State institutions and the will of Venezuelans with pretensions to reissue a presidential self-proclamation.

According to the Anti-Fascist International, these actions, similar to those of the coup plotter and fugitive Juan Guaidó, seek to destabilize the legitimate government of Nicolás Maduro and attack Venezuelan democracy.

For its part, the Bolivarian Platform for Solidarity with Venezuela in Madrid, reaffirmed in a statement its unrestricted support for the Bolivarian Revolution on the occasion of the inauguration of Nicolás Maduro Moros as legitimate president of Venezuela, after winning the presidential elections in July 2024.
