Maduro: The candidate here is the People of Venezuela and in their name I am going to this battle!

After leaving official his bid for the presidential elections of July 28 by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), President Nicolás Maduro Moros emphasized that the People are the candidate.

“The candidate is you a student, you are a worker, the candidate here is the People of Venezuela, in their name I am going to this battle with their strength. Each one of you has accompanied me in these hard and difficult years,” he said.

Likewise, President Maduro recalled the hard time the country faced in 2015 “they said that if they voted by last name it was the last line. And they won and the People lost, because when they win, the People lose. They are not the people, they are the oligarchy, they are the anti-homeland”
