Deputy José Gregorio Correa reported that the Standing Committee on Administration and Public Services is debating mechanisms to unify public and private parking rates across the country.

The information was provided during the interview he gave to La Iguana TV, last Tuesday, where he insisted on the need to correct irregularities in the parking service.

He pointed out that the commission is thoroughly evaluating the inequality in these prices, due to the effect it produces on the most vulnerable, who are the users.

Correa described the disproportion in tariffs as unacceptable. He stressed that the payment, for the time spent in clinics and shops, ends up being greater than the expense incurred in the establishment.
