This Tuesday, October 21, the Bolivarian Government reported that the municipality's asphalt plant is operating at 100% capacity after the complete repair of the boiler in which a fire occurred two weeks ago, which will allow asphalting works to be reactivated starting next Thursday in the center of the city of Maracay and Choroní in the state of Aragua.

Mayor Rafael Morales supervised the recovery work carried out by the technical team that worked “day and night” to repair the damage caused by a short circuit. “The boiler is the heart of the asphalt plant, since it is responsible for heating all the asphalt liquid,” Morales explained at the facilities.

Although the incident caused a 15-day delay in the original planning, liquid, aggregate and raw material are currently available for the manufacture of asphalt.

Namely, next Monday, the company will resume production as part of the second “More Humane Cities” transformation promoted by the national government.
