The Public Ministry reports that yesterday,
December 19, 2024, Mr. Fernando Martínez Mottola, who was residing at the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina in
Venezuela with a group of members of the extremist organization Vente
Venezuela who are
at large, appeared voluntarily at the headquarters of the Public
Ministry in Caracas.
The said citizen took up the law and made a
statement at the prosecutor's office regarding the serious violent,
conspiratorial and destabilizing acts organized from the above-mentioned
diplomatic headquarters over the past few months, following the holding of the
presidential elections on July 28.
It is important to highlight that Martínez Mottola decided to actively
collaborate with the Venezuelan justice system, within the framework of due
process provided for in Article 49 of the Constitution of the Republic.
Finally, the Public Prosecutor's Office, as the rector and
owner of the criminal investigation, remains firm both in its duty
to guarantee justice and in its fight against any
