Mayor Carmen Meléndez presents “Lea Benshimol de Serfaty” Educational Center on January 23

As part of the work carried out by the Mayor's Office of Caracas, the Lea Benshimol de Serfaty National Early Childhood Education Center, located in the parish of 23 de Enero, was completely rehabilitated, according to Mayor Carmen Meléndez.
He explained that the institution has a capacity for 120 boys and girls, who will also benefit from the School Feeding Program, park, conuco, suitable rooms and other spaces.
“It was beautiful, to the joy of its educational community and the members of the El Panal 21 commune.” This space was 100% recovered by FundCaracas, the BRICOMILES and the municipality. The instruction of our president Nicolás Maduro Moros is that students participate in quality education, and so we have 76 schools to deliver, in which we are working, until we reach 100%,” he emphasized.
He indicated that his office is working to complete repairs in 76 schools in the city, in order to meet the goal set by the head of state, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
On the other hand, he referred to the house of General Eleazar López Contreras, located in the parish of El Paraíso, which is still being remodeled to become a cultural and useful center for the people of Caracas. He said that a multidisciplinary team, led by Fundapatrimony, is carrying out work to recover all the building's facilities and orient the work to maintain its original characteristics.
