Mayor Carmen Meléndez swore in the Special Staff for the Caracas-La Guaira Corridor

The objective is to continue making progress in the development of the project, which has a national scope, said Meléndez.

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, this Tuesday, December 02, took the oath of office of the Special Staff for the Caribbean Peoples Community Corridor, located on the Caracas-La Guaira highway, in order to continue making progress in the development of the project, which has a national scope.

Meléndez, on his account on the social network Instagram, explained that the project is being promoted by President Nicolás Maduro and will allow “the unstoppable transformation of our territory”.

“As our president Nicolás Maduro guided us, the Special General Staff for the Caribbean Peoples Community Corridor, on the Caracas-La Guaira highway, is active to continue developing this nationwide project,” he said.

During the activity, M/G Nayade Lockiby Belmonte and the deputy to the National Assembly (LAN), Carlos Mogollón, were sworn in, who will be in charge of the task, as Single Authority and second in command, respectively.

The mayor said that she is sure that the new jurors will reach the 15 communes, of the 5 territorial axes, in order to push for the implementation of the 7 T and the plan devised by the first national president to be implemented.

“This General Staff will operate 24 hours a day, in permanent communication with the head of government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández. From now on, we are doing great teamwork, together with the Community Power,” he explained.
