Mayor Meléndez: 299 communes participated in the beginning of the Venezuela Ríe 2025 Vacation Plan in Caracas

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that in the capital city, a total of 299 communes participated in the launch of the Venezuela Ríe 2025 Community Vacation Plan, distributed in the 22 parish circuits.

“We will be in different communes and territories throughout the month of August,” he said.

The program includes sports, recreational and cultural activities, accompanied by young people trained as recreational players.

This was stated on a television broadcast from the Miguel Montes Socialist Mission Base, in the state of La Guaira, where the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, led the launch of the Venezuela Ríe 2025 Community Vacation Plan.

For his part, the head of government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, said that the deployment includes spaces equipped for the enjoyment of children and youth.

“We have recreational activities, courts, living culture and the support of the Ministry of Youth,” he said.

He pointed out that, despite the threats of the empire, the commitment to guarantee recreational and training spaces for new generations is maintained, to ensure the peace and sovereignty of Venezuela.
