Mayor's Office executes urban maintenance deployment in sectors of Caracas

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that her office, together with the Ministry of Popular Power for Public Works, continues to carry out deep cleaning and maintenance work on different roads and structures in the center of the capital.

The mayor, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), shared on her Instagram account the details of the work that has been carried out since the early morning of this Thursday.

“The deep cleaning and maintenance work has included different points, roads and structures in the center of Caracas, and during the early morning of January 9, we supervised their development together with Minister Juan José Ramírez Luces. A coordinated effort so that we have our capital city beautiful and in order,” said Meléndez.

It should be noted that one of the maintenance points was all over Avenida Bolívar.

In another message from the mayor, she commented that after a report to the 1x10 system of Good Governance, the complaint of the fall of a tree in the community of Mariperez, in the parish of El Recreo, was immediately addressed.

The teams of the Libertador Municipal Services Corporation, the Caracas Police and Civil Protection were activated to control the situation.

Meléndez explained: “The tree was more than 40 years old and was already deteriorating, explained the residents of Augusto César Sandino Avenue, who accompanied the corresponding work.”
